I'm very excited to share with you guys the first cover/poster to the first major D91 Crossover with another franchise, THE CHRONICLES OF D91 X MENAI
This project is probably over a year or two in the making and is co-created with my good buddy Blackan (Brennan) who I met years back during my early years here on DA. We decided to start an individual crossover series as a fun side project we can work on and off on, and we're happy to finally get it off the ground today. This cover is also inspired by one of the promotional artwork of SNK vs Capcom games.
The Chronicles of D91 X MENAI is an original crossover story featuring D91-niverse Heroes and villains from the FALLEN ANGEL, BLOODLINE, and COLD RESPECT series who come to the down under city of Menai only to discover that a new cosmic threat may threatened the existence of their new home universe (taking place after the INFAMY X SIEGE CROSSOVER story line). They soon run into a military group, super powered human experiments, familiar foes from Zucato and Armored Haven, and a group of freedom fighters led by a legendary Courier (The characters from the MENAI CHRONICLES). Now heroes, villains, and rivals from two different universe must clash in order to determine the fate of their respective universe and learn the true potential between gods and mortals.
Both Brennan and I will reveal more about the story line in full detail as time goes by and will both be doing our own series of respective artwork for it featuring our characters. It's gonna be a fun project on the side that I'm sure will go a long way and I hope you guys enjoy it as well.
